McKinney Street, Denton, Texas, at which the following will be considered: 1. Closed Meeting: A. HLC19-062 Consultation with Attorneys - Under Texas Government Code Section 551.071. Consult with the City’s attorneys and discuss legal issues relating to a pending application for a certificate of appropriateness application at 2026 W. Oak; where discussion of these legal matters in an open meeting would conflict with the duty of the City’s attorneys to the City of Denton, the Denton Historic Landmark Commission, and the Denton City Council, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, or otherwise compromise the City’s legal position in the event of a legal dispute. Following the completion of the Closed Meeting, the Historic Landmark Commission will convene in a Regular Meeting in the Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E.
