IN TRAINING ROOMS 3, 4, AND 5 After determining that a quorum is present, the Historic Landmark Commission of the City of Denton, Texas will convene in a Closed Meeting on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in Training Room 1 at the Development Service Center, 401 N Elm Street, Denton, Texas, at which the following item will be considered: CLOSED MEETING 1. HLC22-077 Under Texas Government Code Section 551.071, consult with the City’s attorneys and discuss legal issues relating to a pending application for a certificate of appropriateness application at 2026 W Oak Street; where discussion of these legal matters in an open meeting would conflict with the duty of the City’s attorneys to the City of Denton, the Denton Historic Landmark Commission, and the Denton City Council, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, or otherwise compromise the City’s legal position in the event of a legal dispute. B. HLC22-102 Under Texas Government Code Section 551.071, consult with the City’s attorneys and discuss legal issues relating to an enforcement action for demolition of a contributing structure on a property located at 928 W Hickory Street; where discussion of these legal matters in an open meeting would conflict with the duty of the City’s attorneys to the City of Denton, the Denton Historic Landmark Commission, and the Denton City Council, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, or otherwise compromise the City’s legal position in the event of a legal dispute.
