Notice Regarding COVID-19 and Public Participation at City Council Meetings
Pursuant to California Governor Newsom’s Executive Orders N-25-20 issued on March
4, 2020 and N-29-20 issued on March 18, 2020, the City Council regular meeting will be
conducted remotely through Zoom and broadcast live on the City’s website and YouTube
channel.
Pursuant to the Executive Orders, and to ensure the health and safety of the public by
limiting human contact that could spread the COVID-19 virus, the Council Chamber will
not be open for the meeting. The Commission and Staff will be participating virtually via
the Zoom platform.

If you wish to speak under general public comment, or speak on an agenda item, you can
access the meeting remotely through ONE of the following options:

At this time, pursuant to the Brown Act, any person may comment on matters of
general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Public Safety
Commission, NOT listed on the agenda.
Under the Brown Act, the Public Safety Commission should not take action on
or discuss matters raised during Public Comment portion of the agenda that are
not listed on the agenda. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
Speakers may not yield their time to others without consent of the Chair. All
comments are to be directed to the Public Safety Commission and shall be
devoid of any personal attacks. Members of the public are expected to maintain
a professional, courteous decorum during public comments. Please complete
