VILLAGE OF DOUSMAN 118 S. MAIN STREET DOUSMAN, WISCONSIN 53118 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village Board and Plan Commission of the Village of Dousman will hold a public hearing and a joint meeting on the 14th of May, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village Hall located at 118 S. Main Street, Dousman, Wisconsin. The purpose of the meeting will be to conduct the following public hearing: To consider an amendment to Chapter 17 of the Village of Dousman Municipal Code (a/k/a Zoning Code) within the B-1, Downtown Business District, Section 17.49 (2) (t), Use Regulations; Permitted Uses, to read as follows: “(t) Residential Units; attached above or at rear of same building with another business use, maximum of two (2) residential units, with a minimum living area of 550 square feet.” The Plan Commission and Village Board may take action on the forgoing proposed amendment immediately following the hearing or at a future meeting date, and may adjust the wording prior to approval. A copy of the full application may be viewed at Dousman Village Hall during normal business hours. Written comments will be accepted, and all people wishing to speak will be heard. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice.
