NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village Board and Plan Commission of the Village of Dousman will
hold a public hearing and a joint meeting which on the 30th of November, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., or soon
thereafter as the matter will be heard, at Village Hall located at 118 S. Main Street, Dousman, Wisconsin.
The purpose of the meeting will be to hold the following public hearing:
To consider a Conditional Use Permit application filed by Nathan and Angela Minor on vacant property
located between 236 and 238 N. Main Street owned by DS Group, LLC, zoned as B-1, Downtown
Business District, under the category of “Other Uses and Situations” when uses or situations not
specifically provided for within the zoning district may be determined to be acceptable under the
provisions of the Zoning Code, and in the judgement of the Plan Commission and the Village Board,
meet the intent of conditional use approval. The specific proposal is to construct two buildings, each
approximately 5,300 square feet in size for storage, garage, shop and office space for the applicant’s
business called the Drainage Doctors, LLC, and to provide leasable space for similar businesses. No
outside storage or parking of heavy equipment or construction vehicles is proposed.
The property subject to this proposal is legally described as follows:
Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map No. 11098, recorded as Document No. 4042778 in the Office of the
Waukesha County Register of Deeds, being in the Northwest ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 3, Town 6
North, Range 17 East, Village of Dousman, Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
The Plan Commission and Village Board may take action on the forgoing Conditional Use Permit
application immediately following the public hearing or at a future meeting date.
A copy of the full application may be viewed at Dousman Village Hall during normal business hours.
Written comments will be accepted, and all people wishing to speak will be heard.
It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the
municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be
taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body
specifically referred to above in this notice.
