basin, Howard street due to water line break repairs and miscellaneous concrete work in town including

Mowing at Four Corners
The Streets Department expressed concerns about having to use a push mower rather than a riding
mower. We currently have summer help only three days per week, and mowing and trimming takes
approximately 3.5 days at a minimum. This may lead to a broader discussion about creating a
utility/maintenance position that could assist all departments with seasonal mowing and general
maintenance tasks (painting, minor repairs, etc.). This discussion arose after a report of rocks damaging
nearby siding. For now, staff is policing the area before mowing, keeping the discharge flap down,
directing clippings away from the home, and using a push mower for added safety.
MESA has asked whether, if they are not setting up in the park, they could instead set up
elsewhere in town during our community yard sales or other Village events. Thoughts? I will take
to Economic Dev/ Streets.
Install PVC w/ cap for signage at bandstand and V Hall
