the motion was seconded by Dave, and the minutes were unanimously approved.
Finance – Brian, Alan & Rob
The Board reviewed invoices totaling $2,464.51. Alan reported the invoices paid were routine
expenditures and budgeted costs. Invoice payments included the Clipper and Doylestown Observer
advertisements, Squarespace fee and BC Health Department public bathing certificate. Lori made a
motion to approve payment of the invoices, the motion was seconded by Becki, and the motion to
approve payment of the invoices was unanimously approved.
Operations – Alan & Rob
Drew presented the request for a shade structure for the diving well to provide protection during dive
practices and meets. Drew recommends a commercial grade structure and one that can be moved when
not needed. Drew said the site line to the pool from the guard post also needs to be considered. Drew
will research larger pop-up shade options and versatile cantilever shade structures for review at the
March meeting.
Programs – Lori & Becki
Lori and Becki had nothing to report.
Personnel – Rob and Lori
Drew has updated the Head Coach job description and the final revisions to all job descriptions are being
made. Alan asked if prior assistant coaches have been contacted. Drew said he has received
applications from some of them. The goal is to have at least one additional adult assistant coach on deck
in addition to the head coach. Brian said the Parent Board Bylaws review is a work I progress.
Publicity/Marketing – Amy & Dave
Drew reported that the Cardinal print ad has posted and the Clipper and Observer print ads are rolling
out this week. There will be two ads for each publication.
Long Range Planning – Alan
Alan, Mike and Drew will meet early Summer to review future projects.
Membership Rules –Becki
Becki had nothing to report.
100th Anniversary Celebration – Rob, Amy, Becki & Alan
The next committee meeting is scheduled for April 7th. Updates will be provided at the April Board
meeting.
Pool Manager’s Report – Drew
Drew presented a detailed Pool Manager’s report. Print advertisements have launched per previous
report. All 2025 documents, brochures, rules, website and social media platforms have been updated
with 2025 pricing and information. Drew reached out to Kevin McCann and there are no changes to the
Master’s Program. Online registration will open March 1st and the early bird pricing will end April 15th.
Drew has contacted 2024 staff about 2025 employment in January and again in February and is receiving
applications for the new season. Hiring letters will be mailed out in April.
The Head Coach position was posted and the job description updated. Mike has reached out to his
coaching contacts who are interested in the position. Brian asked that the position posting includes an
end date for applications to allow preparation time before the season opens.
Drew included the Thompson Networks quote of $5,390.13 for a new server and Wi-Fi access points.
The project was budgeted for $5,000. Drew will be meeting with Jim from Gilmore & Associates,
Precision Pools and a contact from Don Kelly to gather bids for the scope, material and time for the main
pool floor project. He hopes to have bids for review at the March meeting. The septic work is complete
and Drew asked Caroline to request the seeding and driveway repair needed. Caroline will pass along
the request to Public Works.
The Fulcrum Guy LLC will complete the annual safety inspection for the diving stands and boards for
$615. Swim Team dates have been set for tryouts and meets. Drew will continue to collect requests for
Financial Assistance for review in March/April.
Drew received a request from an outside camp group wanting to use Fanny Chapman for a swim camp
for approximately 40 children from Monday through Thursday for 4 weeks during the Summer.
Historically, approval for one day during the Summer has been approved for outside groups. The Board
did not approve this request.
Swim Team Parents’ Report
Sherry had nothing to report. The first Parent Board meeting of the season will be held in March.
Correspondence
There were two requests. One was from the County Seat Players for a Fanny Chapman basket for their
raffle. Caroline said Fanny Chapman has donated a basket containing swag and (15) day passes three or
four times in the past. The Board approved this donation.
The second request was from the Doylestown Pump Track asking for a 2025 Family Membership.
Caroline reached out to see if they would accept a basket donation with the day passes and swag. The
response indicated the preference for the family membership to secure a higher raffle ticket value. The
Board approved a donation of a 2025 Family Membership.
Old/New Business -None
Adjournment - At 7:33 pm, the Board adjourned to Executive Session to discuss personnel matters with
no return to public session.
Alan made a motion to adjourn, John seconded the motion and the meeting of the Fanny Chapman Pool

Lori Howard
