City Council Regular Meeting Minutes– January 17, 2017 A City Council Regular Meeting of the City of Dripping Springs was held Tuesday, January 17, 2017, beginning at 6:00 PM in the City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas. I. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall do so after being recognized by the Mayor. The Mayor and City Council may establish a time limit as necessary. No one presented. V. CONSENT ITEMS The following items are anticipated to require little or no individualized discussion due to their nature being clerical, ministerial, mundane or routine. In an effort to enhance the efficiency of City Council meetings, it is intended that these items will be acted upon by the City Council with a single motion because no public hearing or determination is necessary. However, a City Council Member or citizen may request separate deliberation for a specific item, in which event those items will be removed from the consent agenda prior to the City Council voting on the consent agenda as a collective, singular item. Prior to voting on the consent agenda, the City Council may add additional items that are listed elsewhere on the same agenda. A. Initiation of rezoning process by City for 200 East Creek Drive as newly annexed property, pursuant to Section 1.5.3 of the City of Dripping Springs Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 30, Exhibit A, from Agriculture Use (AG) to Single Family Use (SF-1) 1. Request for Reduced Commercial Activity Park Use Fees for Tinkergarten Dripping Springs, Jennie Skilbred, Tinkergarten City Administrator Michelle Fischer provided overview. Report on file recommending approval of $6 per session. Council Member John Kroll motions to approve the request to approve a per session rate of $6.00 per session for the Tinkergarten Playgroup. Council Member Wade King seconds. VOTE: 5-0 in favor, motion passes. B. Request from Amy Kirk for Waiver of Commercial Vendor Fees associated with Rental of Veterans Memorial Park/The Triangle for Monthly Market Days City Administrator Michelle Fischer provided overview. Mayor Pro Tem Bill Foulds motions the approval of this request for waiver of commercial vendor fee; vendor to pay the $15 fee for their first market, and the fee will be waived for their subsequent participation in markets through December 2017; the market shall not have produce vendors (not to compete with Farmers Market.
