City of Dripping Springs Farmers Market Association Board Meeting Agenda Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL COMMISSION: Marianne Simmons - Chair Gouri Johannsen Aimee Mick Diana Black Teresa Strube Aubrey Munguia Claudia Oney Gary Gilstrap Market Managers: Laurel Robertson Meeting was called to order at 10:10am, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 by Marianne Simmons, Chair. Present: Marianne Simmons, Gouri Johannsen, Teresa Strube, Gary Gilstrap, Claudia Oney, Laurel Robertson. II. PRESENTATION BY CITIZENS Floor open to discussion on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair may establish a time limit on each citizen wishing to speak. There was no presentation by citizens. III. MINUTES A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, April 12, 2016 VI. D Last sentence needs to be modified as “The Board is to get the City approval”. Teresa Strube moved the motion to approve the minutes with amendments. Gouri seconded. VOTE: 5-for, 0 –against. Motion passes. IV. REPORTS A. Farmers Market Manager's Monthly Report Report from the Market Manager to the Board regarding Farmers Market activities. Reviewed the report. B. Fiscal Year 2016 Budget Revenues and Expenses Monthly Report Reviewed the report. V. MARKET EVENTS PLANNING AND UPDATES Discussion and possible action regarding: A. Market Events Planning for 2016 Reviewed the report. B. 2016 Tomato Round-Up Planning Reviewed the report. C. Vendor Presentations Regarding "Take-Home Tips" VI. MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS Discussion and possible action regarding: Page 1 of 2  A. Marketing and Public Relations Committee Report Reviewed the report. B. Farmers Market Vendor Survey Gouri will update the Vendor Survey with the comments and suggestions received at this meeting. VII. OTHER BUSINESS Discussion and possible action regarding: A. New Vendor Applications 1. Millfos Ranch Teresa motioned the provisionally approving the Millfos Ranch’s application. Claudia seconded. B. Special Event Applications 1. Center of the Plate Teresa moved the motioned to approve till end of May with all fees waived. Gary seconded. C. Pending Vendor Inspections Laurel will send the Board members the vendor applications that they volunteered to inspect. D. Farmers Market Association Board Vacancy VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS A.
