Mara Cardwell and Susan Manzello present concepts for art on Mercer
Street. Mara presents a collage style painting of things that represent
Dripping Springs. Susan presents a “welcome to Drippin’” theme in
various styles. Possible locations for an art installation are discussed,
including the proposed buffer wall, the DSWSC’s water tank at The
Triangle, and possible mural locations on existing buildings.
Commissioner Chandler presents a concept of a tree made of rocks
built into a wall. The tree leaves could be made of rocks that are
engraved with donor names. Commissioners are most receptive to the

Commissioners ask Mara to work on her concept and submit a
proposal for their consideration.
