WORKSHOP No action to be taken. Discussion regarding: A. Future Land Use The Land Use Workshop is an important part of the Comprehensiye Plan update. It will proyide a yision for future deyelopment in and around Dripping Springs. While City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission members will be participating in this meeting, they will not be conducting any yotes or making binding decisions at the workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to create a draft Future Land Use map outlining what types of new deyelopment are needed in and around Dripping Springs and where thatJiew deyelopment can be located to achieye efficient deyelopment that protects community yalues and quality of life. Roads and infrastructure expansions and new facilities will also be identified. Areas not suitable for growth, such as floodplains, drainage areas, steep terrain, etc. will also be defined. At the end of the workshop, a draft Future Land Use Map will be created that will then be further reyiewed by the Steering Committee, City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, and the public before final adoption at the conclusion of the plan update. 1.
