Merissa Green, 1307 Vista Del Lago Blvd, had questions regarding the proposed Dundee Incubator. Seeing no further public come forth Mayor Pennant closed the floor. AYERS RFQ 24-01 CCNA Agreement Mayor Pennant opened the floor for public comment, seeing no one come forth the floor was closed. MOTION TO APPROVE the consent agenda for the July 9, 2024 Commission meeting made by Goddard, Seconded by Richardson. Passed unanimously. Voting Yea: Goddard, Quarles, Richardson, Pennant RECOGNITION Town Staff recognized Jacob Reuter for his landscape work performed at the Development Services Building. Jacob Reuter thanked the Town for the opportunity. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION TO APPROVE the regular agenda for the July 9, 2024 Commission meeting made by Goddard, Seconded by Quarles. Commissioner Richardson asked for more details on the social media section of the ordinance. Assistant Town Attorney Claytor gave an analysis of section 14.08, subsection D. Mayor Pennant reopened the floor for public comment. Aletha Pugh, 1367 Swan Lake Circle, asked for a disclaimer regarding intellectual property. Bernard Hammonds, 611 MLK, asked for a copy of the changes. Seeing no public come forth, the floor was closed. MOTION TO APPROVE Ordinance 24-08 made by Goddard, Seconded by Quarles. DISCUSSION & ACTION, RESOLUTION 24-12, STORMWATER MANAGEMENT FEES Assistant Town Attorney Claytor read the title of Resolution 24-12 into the record. Fire Chief Carbone stated that the truck is 22 years old. MOTION TO APPROVE Resolution 24-14 made by Quarles, Seconded by Goddard. Passed unanimously. DISCUSSION & ACTION, RFP 24-08, 1 UTILITY LIFT STATION MAINTENANCE CRANE TRUCK Public Works Director Vice gave the analysis. MOTION TO APPROVE the bid from Jarrett-Gordon Ford Davenport made by Goddard, Seconded by Quarles. Passed unanimously. Voting Yea: Goddard, Quarles, Richardson, Pennant REPORTS FROM OFFICERS Fire Chief Carbone updated the run totals. Public Works Director Vice updated the Commission on the newly added Citrus Connection stops in Dundee. He also told the Commission that the water fountain is being delivered tomorrow. Human Resource Director Barclay reminded the Commission about the Fire Department Grand Opening and Back to School Backpack event on Saturday, July 20th.
