MINUTES DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (DDA) SPECIAL MEETING VILLAGE OF DUNDEE, MI TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 6:00 PM 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL A Regular Meeting of the Dundee Downtown Development Authority was held on Sep 09 2025. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Perry Present were Mary Schultz, Laura Lawrence, Laura Perry, Chuck Booth, Irma Kubiske, Denny Nisch, Village President Tim Bordine, Becky Tuttle. Tim , Marcella Osenbaugh-Valle, Erika , Brian Merkle, Durim was absent. Also present were Village Manager, and 7 interested citizens. 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Lawrence to accept the Agenda as written, 2nd by Booth, Motion carried. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Regular Meeting: No minutes to approve 5. PUBLIC COMMENT Heather Carr read a letter stating that the DDA is not being transparent, no copy of letter given. George Wilkins spoke, no written letter give. 6. TEAM REPORTS No Reports given 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS No unfinished business at this time. 8. NEW BUSINESS 8.a Halloween Bash: Discuss/Plan and Organize: Motion by Perry to have the Halloween Bash on October 31, 2025 with time to run from 4:30-6:30pm, 2nd by Booth. Roll Call vote Yes: Schultz, Perry, Booth, Kubiske, Bordine, Nisch, Page 1 of 2  Abstained: Tuttle, No: Lawrence, Motion Carried. Motioned by Perry to give raised sponsorship to Holcim Charity Funding, 2nd by Lawrence, Roll Call vote Yes: Schultz, Perry, Booth, Kubiske, Bordine, Nisch, Tuttle, Lawrence, No: 0, Motion Carried. Need a point person, use the software purchased to collect funds, use a QR Code. Motion by Perry to use the Community class at the High School for passing out flyers downtown, 2nd by Booth, Roll Call vote Yes: Schultz, Perry, Booth, Kubiske, Bordine, Nisch, Tuttle, Lawrence, No: 0, Motion Carried. Church of the Nazarene will do the Photo's, Schultz to check with St. Johns to see if they would be interested in passing out Hot Dogs this year, also will get 6 bales of straw and a few corn stalks for the Church photo opp. Check to see if the Independent would be interested in judging the costume contest. 9. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND DISCCUSIONS Booth closing comment is that the Current DDA Board should receive lenience on what we can and cannot do as we are learning. 9.a Next Meeting : September 15, 2025 10.
