DURYEA BOROUGH REORGANIZATION MEETING JANUARY 3, 2022 Swearing in of newly elected officials by Judge Alexandra Kokura-Kravitz Mayor: Jeffrey Bauman Council Members: James Gromelski, Stephanie Shupp, Justin Tonte, Jeanne Zinkavich Tax Collector: Martin Hanczyc MEETING • Roll call: Gromelski, Tonte, Zinkavich, Rowlands, Ameika, Shupp. Mayor Bauman in attendance. With a quorum present, the meeting will continue. • Pledge to the flag. • Mayor Jeffrey Bauman appoints as the temporary secretary of the Reorganization Meeting. Mayor Bauman asks for a nomination for President of Council. *The meeting is now turned over to the Council President* Motion for a nomination for Vice-President of Council. Motion: • to appoint as Borough Manager/Treasurer. • to appoint as Borough Solicitor. • to appoint as Borough Engineer. • to appoint as Borough Fire Chief, and as Assistant Borough Fire Chief. • that People’s Security Bank be named as the Depository for Duryea Borough. • to appoint as the Building Inspector for Duryea Borough.
