CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES September 5, 2017 – 5:30 p.m. Riverview Educational Service Center – 15510 – 1st Ave NE Mayor Pro Tem Ockerlander called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Council present: Jason Walker, Matthew Eyer, Becky Nixon, Michelle Hogg, Amy Ockerlander, Dianne Brudnicki, Scott Thomas Staff present: Matthew Morton, Lara Thomas, Lindsey Vaughn, Boyd Benson, Larissa Grundell, Jodi Wycoff a. Good of the Order Councilmember Jason Walker asked if there was an update on having WAVE come to a future meeting. Mayor Ibershof said he is meeting with WAVE this week and they are scheduled to come to the September 19th Committee of the Whole meeting. Councilmember Walker also asked if Council could get an updated spreadsheet showing the various FTE’s (full time equivalents) and how their time is allocated for budget purposes. b. Transpo Discussion Boyd Benson, Public Works Director, introduced Larissa Grundell, Assistant City Engineer/Utility Inspector, and Patrick Lynch, Principal, Transpo Group. Mr. Benson, Ms. Grundell and Mr. Lynch gave a presentation to review and explain the traffic models that the City of Duvall uses. The presentation included information about how the models are developed and used as forecasting tools to estimate traffic impacts within city limits. c. Sensitive Area Policy Update Due to time constraints, this item was moved to the regular Council agenda under Scheduled Items.
