CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES December 19, 2017 – 5:30 p.m. Riverview Educational Service Center – 15510 – 1st Ave NE Mayor Pro Tem Ockerlander called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. Council present: Amy Ockerlander, Jason Walker, Matthew Eyer, Scott Thomas, Michelle Hogg, Becky Nixon, Dianne Brudnicki Staff present: Lara Thomas, Lindsey Vaughn, Boyd Benson, Jodi Wycoff, PJ Rodriguez a. 2017 Year End Review Mayor Ibershof gave his annual End of the Year presentation highlighting Duvall’s accomplishments for 2017 and changes for 2018 including a new Mayor and Councilmembers. Staff thanked Mayor Ibershof for his sixteen years of leadership and service to Duvall. b. Good of the Order Council requested details regarding the written report in the Committee of the Whole packet. Boyd Benson, Public Works Director, explained that the change order being requested for Big Rock Ballfields is to install batting cages. Mr. Benson said that Sno Valley North Little League has offered to pay for construction of the batting cages in exchange for credit to use them for five years. Mr. Benson then answered questions from Council and said that he will bring this item to Council at a future meeting for further discussion.
