CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES June 19, 2018 – 5:30 p.m. Riverview Educational Service Center – 15510 – 1st Ave NE Mayor Pro Tem Eyer called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. Council present: Matthew Eyer, Amy McHenry, Michelle Hogg, Jennifer Knaplund, Jason Walker, Mike Remington (absent: Dianne Brudnicki) Staff present: Lara Thomas, Lindsey Vaughn, Jodi Wycoff, Larissa Grundell, Shaun Tozer I. Good of the Order Mayor Pro Tem Eyer said that he drafted a memo summarizing the results of the School Impact Fee Ad-hoc Committee. The draft memo has been sent to committee members and will be distributed to the full Council soon. Mr. Eyer also asked if Council would like to begin review of the District’s Capital Facilities Plan (CFP) earlier than has been done in the past; Council agreed. Mr. Eyer said he will work with staff to get the CFP on the agenda once the draft is available for review. II. Items 1. 2018 Surface and Stormwater Plan Larissa Grundell, Assistant City Engineer/Utility Inspector, gave a presentation to review discussion items and questions that came out of the public hearing on June 5th. Ms. Grundell then answered questions from Council. Council discussed adding language to prioritize an asset management tool to better understand the health of the stormwater utility. 2. Q2 Budget Amendment Q & A Lindsey Vaughn, Finance Director, and Shaun Tozer, Project Manager, gave a presentation to review and answer questions that came up during the June 5th meeting regarding the portion of the amendment related to road work along Batten Road and NE 150th. Ms. Vaughn and Mr. Tozer then answered questions from Council. III. Adjournment The Committee of the Whole adjourned at 6:56 p.m. Written Reports – There were no written reports distributed in the Committee of the Whole packet.
