CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL JOINT CITY COUNCIL / PLANNING COMMISSION WORKSHOP MINUTES August 21, 2018 – 5:00 p.m. Duvall Visitor Center – 15619 Main St NE Acting Mayor Pro Tem Remington called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. Council present: Amy McHenry, Michelle Hogg, Jason Walker, Mike Remington, Dianne Brudnicki, Jennifer Knaplund attended via telephone (absent: Matthew Eyer) Planning Commission present: Ronn Mercer, Jason Brown, Mike Supple, Michael Yelle (absent: Jim Deal, Eric Preston, Robert Walker) Staff present: Lara Thomas, Larissa Grundell, Jodi Wycoff, Diana Hart I. Items 1. Transportation Planning and Modeling 101 Patrick Lynch, Principal, and Brent Turley, Senior Transportation Engineer with Transpo Group, gave a presentation including a general overview of transportation planning and modeling and specifically the model used for City of Duvall. Mr. Lynch and Mr. Turley answered questions from Council and Planning Commission. There was discussion about different types of data and modeling that can be used and how they can be used to plan for Duvall’s future. Staff will work with Transpo to address any comments or questions that need follow-up. II.
