CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES January 15, 2019 – 5:30 p.m. Riverview Educational Service Center – 15510 – 1st Ave NE Mayor Pro Tem Remington called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Council present: Michelle Hogg, Mike Remington, Dianne Brudnicki, Amy McHenry, Jennifer Knaplund, Matthew Eyer, Jason Walker Staff present: Lindsey Vaughn, Lara Thomas, Carey Hert, Diana Hart, Jodi Wycoff I. Good of the Order Councilmember Knaplund said that she did more research regarding sales tax revenues and the breakdown of information that is available through the State. Jodi Wycoff, City Clerk, reminded Council of the deadline to file their F1 form with the Public Disclosure Commission. Councilmember McHenry verified with Council that there is still interest in either having a table at the Farmers Market occasionally or scheduling a regular Council Chat day and time for the public. There was consensus to move forward with the idea. Mayor Pro Tem Remington recognized Councilmember Eyer for serving as Mayor Pro Tem in 2018 and thanked him for his service. II. Items 1. 2019 City Council Work Plan Mayor Pro Tem Remington led a discussion to review a draft Council Work Plan for 2019. Council discussed each item to determine if there is consensus to prioritize the item, remove it from the list or combine it with another similar item. 2. City Council Retreat Mayor Pro Tem Remington asked for feedback regarding a potential date for the 2019 Council Retreat. 3. 2019 Legislative Agenda Diana Hart, Administrative Assistant, handed out and reviewed the updated list of proposed items for City of Duvall’s 2019 Legislative Agenda. This discussion was continued during the regular Council meeting. Committee of the Whole Meeting 01/15/19 Approved 02/05/19 III.
