CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES March 17, 2020 – 5:30 p.m. Duvall Visitor Center 15619 Main St NE Due to public health emergency, this meeting was held remotely. All Councilmembers and staff attended via Zoom meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Remington called the meeting to order at 5:43 p.m. Council present: Amy McHenry, Dorothy Lengyel, Dianne Brudnicki, Michelle Hogg, Mike Remington, Jennifer Knaplund, Matthew Eyer Staff present: Lara Thomas, Carey Hert, Steve Leniszewski, Dana Mason, Jodi Wycoff, Shaun Tozer I. Good of the Order There were no items for good of the order. II. Items: 1. Public Health Emergency Policies Shaun Tozer, Interim Director of Emergency Management, gave a presentation to review the current public health emergency related to COVID-19 and steps the City is taking related to the emergency. Mr. Tozer answered questions from Council. Council requested regular reports related to funds being spent in relation to emergency response. Mr. Tozer then reviewed the following policies and answered questions from Council. A. Resolution affirming the declaration of an emergency B. Public Health Emergency and/or Pandemic Response and Recovery Policy and Procedures C. Public Health Emergency and/or Pandemic Utility Billing Policy D. Telecommuting Policy III. Adjournment The Committee of the Whole adjourned at 6:55 p.m. Written Reports – There were no written reports were distributed in the Committee of the Whole packet.
