City Council Committee of the Whole

CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES August 4, 2020 – 5:30 p.m. Virtual Only Meeting via Zoom Due to public health emergency, this meeting was held remotely. All Councilmembers and staff attended via Zoom meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Remington called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. Council present: Amy McHenry, Dorothy Lengyel, Michelle Hogg, Mike Remington, Jennifer Knaplund (absent: Dianne Brudnicki, Matthew Eyer) Staff present: Lara Thomas, Carey Hert, Steve Leniszewski, Dana Mason, Shaun Tozer, Jodi Wycoff Mayor Pro Tem Remington updated the agenda to switch the Administration Department Update and the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency Update. I. Good of the Order Councilmember Lengyel reported on a webinar she attended about Hopelink. Councilmember Knaplund discussed internet access in Duvall and encouraged everyone to fill out the surveys that are available from the County and State. Jodi Wycoff, City Clerk, thanked everyone involved with getting the small business grant application information out today. II. Items: 1. Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Coalition M’Liss Moon, Snoqualmie Valley Mobility Coordinator, Mobility Management with Hopelink, and Amy Biggs, Director, Snoqualmie Valley Transportation, gave a presentation to review the Snoqualmie Valley Transportation program and how Duvall can provide support for the program. 2. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency Update Shaun Tozer, Interim Director of Emergency Management, and Lara Thomas, Deputy City Administrator, gave a presentation to review the current COVID-19 public health emergency, including information the City is tracking related to the emergency and updated amounts the City has spent related to the emergency. 3. Department Update – Administration Due to time limitations, this update was moved to the regular meeting under scheduled items. III.
