CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES September 15, 2020 – 5:30 p.m. Virtual Only Meeting via Zoom Due to public health emergency, this meeting was held remotely. All Councilmembers and staff attended via Zoom meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Remington called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m. Council present: Amy McHenry, Dorothy Lengyel, Michelle Hogg, Mike Remington, Jennifer Knaplund, Dianne Brudnicki, Matthew Eyer Staff present: Lara Thomas, Dana Mason, Jodi Wycoff I. Good of the Order There were no items for Good of the Order. II. Items: 1. FY2019 Audit Entrance Conference Clay Trushinsky, Assistant Audit Manager, and Wendy Choy, Program/Audit Manager, reviewed the process and scope of the City’s annual Accountability and Financial audits for fiscal year 2019. The Accountability audit will focus on financial condition, accounts payable, payroll, tracking and monitory theft sensitive assets, and contract and agreement review. 2. Snohomish WRIA 7 (Water Resource Inventory Area) Mayor Pro Tem Remington introduced Ingria Jones, Streamflow Restoration Lead – WRIA 7, who gave a presentation to review the Watershed Restoration and Enhancement Plan including the history of developing the plan, the legislation requiring the plan and next steps for approving the plan. 3. WAVE Presentation Fred Lutz, Senior Vice President & General Manger, Kevin Stamey, Senior Director, Technical Operations, and Chris Bailey, Senior Director, Marketing & Sales, gave a presentation to review steps they are taking to meet customer needs during the pandemic, current and planned infrastructure, network performance, customer service improvements and product updates. Mr. Lutz, Mr. Stamey and Mr. Bailey then answered questions from Council. III.
