City Council Committee of the Whole

CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES May 18, 2021 – 5:30 p.m. Virtual Only Meeting via Zoom Due to public health emergency, this meeting was held remotely. All Councilmembers and staff attended via Zoom webinar. Mayor Pro Tem Remington called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. Council present: Amy McHenry, Dorothy Lengyel, Michelle Hogg, Mike Remington, Jennifer Knaplund, Rick Shaffer, Dianne Brudnicki Staff present: Lara Thomas, Ryan Cotton, Steve Leniszewski, Dana Mason, Michael DeBock, Jodi Wycoff I. Good of the Order Councilmember Shafer asked about scheduling a retreat to discuss the Mayor and Council’s vision for Duvall as well as priorities and ideas for the upcoming American Rescue Plan Act funding. After discussion, there was consensus to look at dates in late June. Councilmember Knaplund said that she would like to have a discussion to create a plan to work on addressing issues at the Woodinville-Duvall/SR203 intersection. II. Items: 1. Procurement Policy The Finance and Administration Committee, consisting of Mayor Pro Tem Remington, Councilmember Lengyel and Councilmember Knaplund, presented sections of the draft Procurement Policy that the committee has been working on including the purpose statement, terminology and approval authority matrix. This item will be discussed further at future meetings. III. Adjournment The Committee of the Whole adjourned at 6:57 p.m. Written Reports – There were no written reports were distributed in the Committee of the Whole packet.
