THE CITY OF EAST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY ORDINANCE NO.10 OF 2022 On First Reading AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 260-14 OF THE EAST ORANGE CITY CODE TO PROVIDE FOR THE CREATION OF NO PARKING-9:00 AM-12:00 PM PURPOSE: An Ordinance Amending Sections 260-14 of the East Orange City Code to Provide for the Creation of No Parking 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Public Notice is hereby given that at a Regular Meeting of the East Orange City Council held on Monday, March 14, 2022, the following Ordinance was Introduced and passed on First Reading and that said Ordinance will be taken up for further consideration and final passage at a Meeting of the East Orange City Council to be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 6:00 PM at East Orange City Hall, 44 City Hall Plaza, East Orange, NJ in City Council Chambers WHEREAS, The City of East Orange seeks to amend its code to provide for the creation of No Parking at specific locations: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF EAST ORANGE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A. Section 260-14 of the Code is amended as follows: Sign On Direction of Traffic At Intersection of Nassau Place Northbound Nassau Place Southbound Section 2 SEVERABILITY OF ORDINANCE PROVISIONS Each section of this ordinance is an independent section, and the holding of any section or part thereof to be unconstitutional, void, or ineffective for any cause shall not be deemed to affect the validity or constitutionality of any other sections or parts thereof. Section 3 INCONSISTENCIES That all ordinances and parts of ordinances and conflicts that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed but only to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.  Section 4 EFFECTIVE DATE That this ordinance shall take effect upon final passage upon expiration of twenty (20) days following publication unless otherwise provided.
