NOTICES HAVE BEEN FILED WITH OUR OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER WITH THE CITY CLERK AND POSTED ON THE REGULAR BULLETIN BOARD. THIS MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY, STREAMING ON FACEBOOK LIVE AT FACEBOOK. COM/ EOCITYCOUNCIL. RESIDENTS WERE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS VIA EMAIL TO CITYCOUNCILna EASTORANGE- NJ. GOV BY 5: 00 P.M. TO BE READ DURING THE OPEN HEARING OF THE CITIZENS PORTION OF THE MEETING. REPORT OF COMMITTEES A. LAW& LEGISLATION Councilwoman Garett- Ward motioned for pending litigation. Councilwoman Fauntleroy seconded the motion. A roll call was taken: Aye: Councilman Gomez, Councilman Leneus, Councilwoman Lewis, Councilwoman Fauntleroy, Councilwoman, Garrett- Ward, Councilman Awe, Councilman James, Chairman Pullins Nay: None Abstain: None ii Absent: Councilman Monk, Councilwoman Holman 8- Ayes, 0- Nays, 0- Abstentions, 2- Absent) RESOLVED THAT, WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of East Orange has been appraised by the City Counsel of the following matters requiring discussion and debate in Closed Session as provided by the New Jersey Open Public Meeting Law, N.J. S. A. 10: 4- 12 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of East Orange has been advised that discussion shall be made public as soon as possible consistent with the public interest of the people of the City of East Orange. WHEREAS, Council has determined that disclosure to the public of the product of these discussions shall be made as soon as possible consistent with the public interest of the people of the City of East Orange. 2 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST ORANGE and to conform with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Law, does hereby adjourn this public meeting and resolved to enter an Executive Session of the City Council. Entered into Executive Session at 6: 10 p. m.
