PUBLIC NOTICE In accordance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, Public Notice is hereby given that the East Orange City Council is changing the regularly scheduled City Council Meetings scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026 to Virtual Meetings due to Governor Mikie Sherill declaring a State of Emergency and the impending weather conditions. An updated notice will be placed on the City's website on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The meetings will be conducted virtually via video conference, streaming on Facebook Live: https://www.facebook.com/eocitycouncil. Residents may submit a written public comment or question via email to be read during the "Open Hearing of Citizens" portion of the meeting. Please email your questions/comments to: citycouncil@eastorange-nj.gov by 5:00 PM on Monday, February 23, 2026 for the Committee Meeting and by 5:30 PM for the Regular Meeting scheduled at 6:00 PM.
