PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF EAST ORANGE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED JULY 19, 2022 REGULAR PUBLIC MEETING TO TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2022 TO BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et seq., the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of East Orange (“EOBWC”) has rescheduled the July 19, 2022 Regular Board Meeting. The meeting which was scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2022 will now be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The EOBWC will conduct the July 26, 2022, meeting by and through the means of electronic communications equipment as permitted by the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b). The July 26, 2022 EOBWC meeting will be conducted “virtually” through electronic means utilizing the Zoom video conferencing platform. Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting electronically. Members of the public will have the ability to participate in and to provide public comments during this meeting. Members of the public may also submit written public comments to be read aloud during the public meeting by sending an email to: eobwcpubliccomment@eastorange-nj.gov or by regular mail to East Orange Water Commission, Attn: EOBWC Meeting Public Comments, 99 South Grove Street, East Orange, NJ 07018. Electronic and regular mail sent shall specifically state the purpose of the correspondence is to provide for public comment at the Board of Water Commissioners public meeting. Said written public comments must be received no later than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting in order to be read at the meeting, otherwise it will be read at the following EOBWC Meeting. All meetings are open to the public, consistent with the Open Public Meetings Act (Ch. 231, Laws of 1975, State of New Jersey) and that advance notice is herein provided as of the date listed on this notice. At said meeting, the Board may elect consistent with the Open Public Meetings Act, to conduct a closed Executive Session. The Board may consider and take formal action on agenda items or any other item or matter that may come before the Board prior to or at the meeting.
