Airport Advisory Committee MINUTES

September 12th, 2022 7 p.m. @ FBO
Masks are recommended for individuals not fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Social distancing
precautions will continue to be taken.
Meeting scheduled for 7:00 PM posted at voet@easttroywi.gov
Meeting will be in FBO.
Roll Call:
Advisory Committee Members: Mike Starck, JD Schreib, Kim Weckerly, Walter Watkins, Matt Johnson
- Absent: Michael Zei
Citizen Participants:
Colleen Weber asked for permission to conduct runway 18-36 numbers painting to promote
Breast cancer awareness conducted by pilot participants only, sans separate insurance in place.
She expects runway closure of 3 hours for this, and a picnic at her hangar afterwards. There
were no dissentions.
New Business
Airport Manager Report:
Promoting value of airport to potential lessees and others: how airport should be
presented in a more positive way. Waiting on Board of trustees for feedback.
Need for comprehensive insurance requirements: this is now under legal study
by Village.
Updates: ALP, airport master plan is a new state requirement to finalize ALP.
New Business issues to address next month:
submit your thoughts by Wednesday prior to advisory board meeting.
