Confirmation of the Meeting Notice Posting, Publication, and compliance with open meeting laws 4. Appointment of Chairperson 5. Appointment of Vice-Chairperson 6. Approval of Sept. 18, 2025 Meeting Minutes 7. Confirmation that at least one member has received mandatory training each year 8. Verify Village Ordinance for confidentiality of income and expense information has been provided to assessor under state law (sec. 70.47(7)(af) 9. Review of any new laws 10. Confirm adoption of amendment to policy regarding the procedure for sworn telephone testimony and sworn written testimony 11. Confirm adoption of amendment to policy regarding the procedure for waiver of BOR hearing requests 12. Receipt of Assessment Roll by Clerk from Assessor 13. BOR Receive the Assessment Roll and Statements from Clerk 14. Review of Assessment Roll and Performance of Statutory Duties: a. Examine Roll b. Correct and description or calculation errors c. Add omitted property d. Eliminate Double Assessed Property 15. Discussion/Action – Certify all corrections of error under state law (sec. 70.43 Wis. Stats. 16. Discussion/Action - Verify with the assessor that open book changes are included in the assessment roll 17. Allow taxpayers to review assessment data 18. Consideration of: a. Requests for waivers of required 48-hour notice of intent to file objection for good cause b. Requests for waiver of BOR hearing, allowing property owner an appeal directly to the circuit court c. Requests for testimony by telephone or submitting sworn written statement d. Act on other legally allowed/required BOR matters 19. Review Notices of Intent to File Objections 20. Proceed to hear objections, if any and if proper notice/waivers given, unless scheduled for another date 21. Consider/act on approval of scheduling additional BOR dates 22.
