Village of East Troy Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes – February 8, 2021 Call Meeting to Order Chairperson Gary Budzien called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Present: Chairperson Gary Budzien, Director Vickie Muszynski, Trustee John Alexander, Public Works Jason Equitz, Board Members Jim Holm, Steve Rostkowski, Annie Van Buren, Andy Seiden, Debbie Arendt Consent Agenda (One motion and second will approve all of the following items) 1. Approve Park & Recreation Commission minutes – 11/9/2020 2. Revenue/Expenditure Report – 1/31/21 3. Director’s Report Motion by Board Member Holm, second by Trustee Alexander, to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried. Miscellaneous Business Annual Report The annual report was presented to the Board and will now be passed on to the Village Board. Motion by Trustee Alexander, second by Board Member Holm, to approve. Motion carried. Mill Pond Park We would like to expand the Mill Pond Park for families to utilize by checking into getting a play structure and a Pavilion in the future. Vickie Muszynski will contact Burke Company to get some ideas and possibly give a presentation late Spring. Lake Bluff Walking Trails Trails signs are needed to advertise where the walking trails are in Lake Bluff Subdivision. One to be placed near St. Peters Rd and possibly a second one; Muszynski will see the cost difference for one or two signs. Board Member Van Buren suggested that re-grading and clean-up of the entrance area be considered in the Spring. Agenda items to discuss at future meetings: A. Sled Shed B. Ice Skating Rink C. DNR Regulations for Parks (Dam Removal) Adjourn – Motion by Board Member Holm, second by Trustee Alexander, to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 pm. Motion carried.
