Village of East Troy Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes – March 8, 2021 Call Meeting to Order Chairperson Gary Budzien called the meeting to order at 6:34 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Present: Chairperson Gary Budzien, Director Vickie Muszynski, Trustee John Alexander, Board Members Jim Holm, Steve Rostkowski, Annie Van Buren, Debbie Arendt Excused: Public Works Jason Equitz, Board Member Andy Seiden Consent Agenda (One motion and second will approve all of the following items) 1. Approve Park & Recreation Commission minutes – 2/8/2021 2. Revenue/Expenditure Report – 2/28/21 3. Director’s Report Motion by Board Member Holm, second by Board Member Rostkowski, to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried. Miscellaneous Business Shed Sled The Board would like to pursue the possibility of a mobile Shed Sled. Muszynski will contact Keith Marcinkevic to inquire if there is an Eagle Scout looking for a project like this. Ice Skating Rink There is an interest in the community for an Ice Skating Rink, however, the perfect location and ideal conditions needed were discussed. Booth Lake is one area to consider. Discussion tabled for a future meeting. East Troy Dam Removal Design Plans from Lynch & Associates were distributed. One item of question is the border on the south-west side (Town of East Troy property). Trustee Alexander will review this with the Village Board and report at the next meeting. Agenda Items to discuss at next meeting: Board Member Rostkowski will be attending the Fox River Summit in Waterford and will give a report at our next meeting Adjourn – Motion by Trustee Alexander, second by Board Member Rostkowski to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 pm.
