Village of East Troy Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes – April 10, 2023 Call Meeting to Order – Chairperson Gary Budzien called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Present - Director Vickie Muszynski, Public Works Jason Equitz, Trustee John Alexander, Chairperson Gary Budzien, Board Members Jim Holm, Steve Rostkowski, Andy Seiden, Debbie Arendt Excused – Board Member Andrea Belka Van Buren Consent Agenda 1. Approval of Minutes from January 10, 2023 Parks and Recreation meeting minutes 2. Approval of Revenue/Expenditure Report March 31, 2023 Motion by Board Member Jim Holm, seconded by Trustee John Alexander to approve consent agenda. Motion carried. Miscellaneous Business 1. The Village board is suggesting that some of the remaining APA Funds be used for the parks. The committee is recommending that these are areas where we could use an upgrade. Jason Equitz/Vickie Muszynski will attempt to get some prices of what these items would possibly cost for our May meeting. A. Mill Pond – Paved parking lot, improve the paths, small play set, shelter B. Playmore Park – Resurface/replace part of the play set, bathrooms C. Bike racks at some of the park areas 2. The Pier at Mill Pond Park is installed. Jason Equitz is hoping to have the pier open by the weekend. Agenda Items to Discuss at Next Meeting 1. Restructuring positions of the Committee. Gary Budzien announced that he is stepping down from Chairperson but is willing to stay on the Committee. Adjourn – Motion by Board Member Jim Holm, seconded by Board Member Andy Seiden to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 pm.
