Village of East Troy Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes Nov 10, 2025 Call meeting to Order – Annie called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Present – Director Vickie Muszynski, Board Members, Annie Belka Van Buren, Steve Rostkowski, Debbie Arendt, Gary Budzien, Village Board Trustee Dan Moody. Representing Lynch & Associates- Tim Lynch, Mike Excused – Sam Groskopf, Andy Seiden Consent Agenda (One motion and second will approve all the following items) 1. Approval of minutes – Parks and Recreation Commission meeting Oct. 13, 2025 2. Approval of Revenue/Expenditure Report -Oct 31, 2025 3. Approval of Directors Report PUBLIC COMMENTS: Motion by Debbie Arendt, seconded by Dan Moody to approve consent agenda. Motion carried. Miscellaneous Business 1. Honey Creek Nature Trail update. 2. Tim presented the completed plans and cost estimates to the board. He explained that the boardwalk from Highway 120 will feature a 4.5% slope, including a landing pad area, and extend across the wetlands. The approach to the parking lot has also been incorporated into the design. Tim explained this is a 50/50 stewardship grant and we can reapply for another grant to add to the trails phase 2 Motion: Gary Budzien made a motion to accept the plan from Lynch and Associates and present it to the Village Board for approval. Debbie Arendt seconded the motion. Motion carried. 3. Donations for Skate Park from Francine Pease- This item was tabled from the October 13, 2025, meeting. The letter from Francine Pease was presented, and the board discussed possible uses for her $5,000 donation. Suggestions include purchasing a bench or smaller pieces of equipment. The board will gather additional ideas and revisit the discussion at the January meeting. 4. Bleachers at Rossmiller Sports Complex-Center Field Diamond- Vickie reported that the bleachers at the CF Diamond were delivered and concrete pads were poured for the bleachers. She also reported that the concrete was vandalized, some one drew initials and a smiling face on the concrete. The vandalism was reported to the police department.
