Minutes Village of East Troy Plan Commission Special Meeting 2015 Energy Drive April 20, 2020 6:00 p.m. 1. Call to order- President Seager called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Verification of open meeting notice– Administrator Suhm verified the meeting had been posted according to open meetings laws. Meeting was conducted via Zoom. 4. Roll call Present: President Seager, Trustee Renucci, Commissioners Edward Arendt, Chris Bottoni, Roger Hayes, Erin Seaverson, Benny Stichmann, Others: Zoning Administrator Schwecke, Administrator Suhm, Deputy Clerk Alexander 5. Citizen Participation No citizen participation. 6. Review of a final development plan for a mini-storage facility project in a multi-use planned development district located on south side of Honey Creek Road (RA314100001); Thomas Larson, applicant (application 2020-08) A. Plan Commission discussion and possible action Ryan Cardinal and Tom Larson presented updated architectural renderings of the proposed storage units showing the addition of brickwork and details. The 12-unit building at the south end of the project (not shown in the renderings) will also have brick work to match the other buildings on the lower 4’ of the wall on the east side facing the business park. Motion by Commissioner Stichmann, second by Commissioner Seaverson, to approve the final development plan for the mini-storage facility project in the Honey Creek Road planned development district based on (1) the site plan previously reviewed on April 13, 2020, subject to the applicable comments/questions in the planner’s review memo dated April 8, 2020 and (2) the architectural renderings reviewed on this date, provided stone is applied on the east side of the 12-unit building to a height of 4 feet. The signage depicted in the two towers on the north end is specifically not included. Motion carried. 7. Next meeting: May 11 (if needed) 8.
