Call Meeting to Order; Pledge of Allegiance
Administrator Suhm verified the meeting was posted according to law.
Roll Call:
President Timms called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Present: President Timms, Trustees Matt Johnson, Dusty Stanford and Ann Zess
Excused: Trustee Fred Douglass, Forty Renucci, Scott Seager
Others: Administrator Suhm, Engineer Sarah Nunn
Citizen Participation
John Jacoby, 2980 North Street. Congratulated the Trump supporters in the room. He
expressed thanks for being allowed the three minutes for citizen participation. He stated aside
from the length of time the Austin Street project took he thinks the end result is great. He also
mentioned he likes the sidewalk on both sides of the street and it would be nice to see some of
the other streets in the Village with sidewalks on both sides. He concluded stating he continues
to think the water tower looks pretty terrible.
Consent Agenda
(One motion and second will approve all of the following items. Any item may be pulled from the list and voted on
separately.)
1. Operator’s Licenses – Brenda L. Andrist, Jennifer E. Douglass
Motion by Trustee Johnson, second by Trustee Stanford to approve the consent agenda.
Motion carried.
Ordinances & Resolutions
1. Resolution 2016-11 – Final Resolution Austin Street
Administrator Suhm explained the property owners had been notified of the public
hearing and meeting to approve the final resolution. She stated the resolution allowed
for assessments to be paid over a period of 10 years at a 2% interest rate, as had been
done for the previous three years of street projects.
Motion by Trustee Stanford, second by Trustee Johnson to approve Resolution 2016-11.
Motion carried.
Adjourn
Motion by Trustee Johnson, second by Trustee Stanford to adjourn. Motion carried at 7:08
p.m.

Per Village Ordinance 148-15(D), anyone wishing to address the Village Board during Citizen Participation will be allowed 3
minutes. Your subject can be anything whether on the agenda or not. The Village Board is not allowed to engage in a discussion
regarding comments because it was not part of the publicly noticed agenda.
Upon conclusion of this Citizen Participation segment, members of the audience are not allowed further comment.
