Meeting Minutes

PRESENT: Maggie Hebert (MH), Beth Rist (BR); Bri Eichstaedt (BE), Health Director; Brian Chapdelaine
(BC), Health Inspector; Jackie Sienkiewicz (JS), Recorder.
Absent: Aimee Petrosky
Also Present: Megan Ward Harvey (MH); Bridget Diggins (BD) Public Health Nurse
Meeting held on Zoom and recorded.
Motions A motion to open the meeting at 5:31 PM. was made by BR and seconded by
MH. All in favor – 2, Opposed – 0. Vote was taken by roll call.
● Discuss current COVID-19 case numbers, trends and metrics. To include update from
contracted Epidemiologist Megan Ward Harvey: MH discussed the current COVID-19
metrics using the most recent Dashboard, attached. MH stated while there was a decline in
cases, the number was still high. MH discussed vaccine rates based on age, race and
ethnicity. MH discussed “endemic” and how to deal with future surges and how to not
overwhelm hospitals.
● 7-Eleven Store: Failure to pay permit renewal late fee: BE informed the Board that a check
from 7-Eleven had been received by the Health Department that day and a permit was now
issued.
● Health Director General Update: BE stated that there would be a vaccine clinic at Mountain
View School on February 16th. This would be available to students and the general public
for first, second, and booster doses. The second dose clinic is scheduled for March 9th. BE
said that 1500 adult and 500 children’s masks were ordered and were being distributed to
Easthampton residents at no cost. Rapid tests were also being distributed to at risk
Easthampton residents at no cost.
A motion was made by BR and seconded by MH to adjourn the meeting;. All in favor: 2, Opposed
0. Vote taken by roll call.
Meeting adjourned at 6:52 PM.
