Appointment Committee Minutes March 1, 2023 Members present: Councilor Riley, Councilor Gomez Members absent: Councilor Meunier Also in Attendance: Robert Ferris Meeting called to order by Councilor Riley at 5:01 pm Public Speak Time: none Approval of the previous minutes: January 12, 2023 Motion By Councilor Gomez seconded by councilor Riley Voted was 2-0 on favor New Business: NAME POSITION / BOARD TERM EXPIRES Nancy DiRocco Commission on Disability Dec. 31, 2024 Motion made by councilor Gomez seconded by councilor Riley Voted was 2-0 on favor Robert Ferris Zoning Bd. of Appeals (Associate Member) Dec. 31, 2025 Robert talked to the committee, and he stated that he’s an attorney and he stated that he works a lot with the board of appeals in Ludlow and he is a new resident of Easthampton and he have a daughter and he choose Easthampton to grew his daughter and he want to help the community in any level he can and that why he applied to be on the zoning board of appeals. He has zoning law experience. Motion was by councilor Gomez and seconded by Councilor Riley. Voted was 2-0 on favor Motion to adjourn by Councilor Gomez and second by councilor Riley Voted was 2-0 on favor Meeting adjourn at 5:20 pm
