Appointments Committee Meeting In-person meeting at 50 Payson Ave., 2ndflr Small Conference Room Meeting Minutes: May 11, 2023 Councilor Riley called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Members Present: Chair Councilor Riley, Councilor Gomez , Councilor Meunier Also in Attendance: Councilor Dunham ,Councilor Zaret, Donald Eggleston and Veronica Frantz-Eggleston Approval of Minutes: none Public Speak Time: none New Business: ● Mayoral Appointment: Name Board/Committee Term Expiration Veronica Frantz-Eggleston Nashawannuck pond committee April 10, 2026 Councilor Riley stated that he contact some of the members of the Nashawannuck pond committee , those members of the NPC express to Councilor Riley the excitement of having Veronica on this committee ,Veronica talked to the committee and explaining the reasons she want a be part of this committee , she stated that shes already being participating on some meetings .She express to the committee that she's committed to help this committee and the city at any ways she can .She stated that she will be helping the committee promoting events and info on social media. Motion was made by councilor Gomez and seconded by Councilor Meunier , voted was 3-0 on favor of the appointment City Council New Appointment: Name Board/Committee Term Expiration Councilor Owen Zaret BEES Committee Dec. 31, 2023 Councilor Zaret express to the committee his passion about the pollinators and how much time he put on this issue on our community , he express gratitude for be appointed to this committee .Councilor Riley explain to the committee why this appointment expired on Dec 31 2023 and he stated is because Councilor Zaret term expired on January 1st 2024 and the new Council have to appoint a new member . Motion was made by councilor Gomez seconded by councilor Meunier . voted was 3-0 on favor Next regular meeting: TBD A motion to adjourned was made by Councilor Meunier and seconded by Councilor Gomez unanimously voted that this meeting adjourn.
