​ Appointments Committee Meeting Meeting Minutes: May 13, 2024 In-person meeting at 50 Payson Ave., 2nd floor Small Conference Room Councilor Smith called the meeting to order at 6:07 pm. At room #2 Public speak time - none Minutes to approval- none New business Mayoral appointment Cyndy Sperry Easthampton City Arts Dec. 31, 2026 Councilor Smith emphasized the significance of having individuals with Cyndys qualifications serve on this committee, The councilors discussed the information received from the initial request to appoint Cyndy, and the committee expressed confidence that Cyndy would be a valuable asset to the Easthampton City Arts Committee. A motion was made by Councilor Gomez and seconded by Councilor Smith The vote was 2-0 in favor of the appointment. The motion to adjourn was made by Councilor Gomez and seconded by Councilor Smith and the vote was 2-0 in favor The meeting was officially adjourned at 6:17 pm Respectfully submitted by Councilor Gomez
