Appointments Committee Meeting Meeting Minutes: June 17, 2024 In-person meeting at 50 Payson Ave., 2nd floor Small Conference Room Councilor Riley called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. At room #2 Public speak time - none Minutes to approval- none New business Mayoral appointment Josh Rosenblatt Zoning Board of Appeals Dec. 31, 2025 Josh participated in this meeting and Rosenblatt stated to the committee that is retired in 2021 and moved to the area in 2002 from Washington DC. Josh has been a volunteer in different organizations like Habitat for Humanity in Greenfield and EDIC Josh has been learning about the ZBA role watching online videos and educating himself reading city ordinances . Josh stated to the committee that he would make his decisions at the ZBA based on the intent and the language of the ordinance, Josh is an open-minded person who can communicate well to resolve potential issues with applicants on the ZBA, He is active on the community helping in events like cultural chaos . A motion was made by Councilor Smith and seconded by Councilor Gomez and the vote was 3-0 in favor The motion to adjourn was made by Councilor Smith and seconded by Councilor Gomez and the vote was 3-0 to adjourn The meeting adjourned at 6:39 Respectfully submitted by Councilor Gomez
