New Business: • Interdepartmental Transfer: $47,743.22 to the PEG Access Account • Request from the Contributory Retirement Board to increase the COLA base by $2,000 to $18,000 5. Continuing Business: - Quarterly fiscal reports from the City Auditor. - Charter required review of salaries for elected officials, appointed committees - *Dec. 18th public hearings set for city ordinance amendments - School Committee & City Council salary increases effective Jan. 2, 2026: Chapter 2, Sec. 2-17 (School Committee salary): In accordance with the Home Rule Charter, Chapter 4, Sec. 4-1(e), the annual salary of the six elected members of the school committee shall be $6,000.00 per member, effective January 2, 2026. The salary of the school committee chair shall be $6,500.00 effective January 2, 2026. Chapter 2, Sec. 2-18 (City Council Salary): In accordance with the Home Rule Charter, Article 2, Sec. 2-4(a) the annual salary of the city councilors shall be $10,000.00 per member, effective January 2, 2026.
