Finance Committee Minutes July 14, 2025 Members present: Chair Tom Peake, Councilor Koni Denham, Councilor Peg Conniff (REMOTE) Members absent: None Also in Attendance: Hetal Patel, Councilor JP Kwiecinski; Lindsi Sekula, City Clerk Mary Ann Giza Meeting called to order by Councilor Peake at 5:30 pm 1. Public Speak Time: No one from the public chose to speak 2. Approval of the Prior Meeting Minutes: Motion by Councilor Denham and Second by Councilor Conniff to approve Finance Minutes from 5/12. 5/13, 5/19 & 5/20/2025. Approved 3-0 3. Mayor’s Communications: None 4. New Business: FY 2025 Interdepartmental Transfers: -$16,775.00 To be transferred from the Reserve fund to: (current reserve fund $140,700 will result in a final balance of $123,925 in reserve fund) A. Mayor - Salary $145.00 B. Auditor - Salary $3,110.00. (Result of extra hours in June) C. Personnel Salary $8220.00. (Expects this to be closer to $5000) D. City Attorney - Prof. Serv. $3,550.00. (Encumbrance of bills for July, 2025) E. City Clerk - Salary $220.00. (came up short) F. Landfill - Prof. Serv. $550.00. (in deficit) G. School Medicare Tax $1,000.00. (in deficit) Pay period encompassed last week in FY25 and first week FY26 created this type of scenario. The hard date for approving these is July 15 each year. Denham adjourn Conniff Councilor Conniff made motion to approve, Councilor Denham seconded. Approved 3-0 5.
