Smart growth and overlay
Jeff Bagg reviewed the proposal. The proposed overlay would stretch from
Groveland to Florence Road.
Discussed developable parcels vs developed parcels
Discussed design standards, and environmental elements
Discussed sustainable pieces of design standards. The committee discussed
how to introduce this and that more general guidelines should be proposed not
just for 40R
Building height and table of uses was reviewed and discussed
JP Kwiecinski offered thought on how to handle view shed
Danielle Martineau had questions about barriers between residential
communities in HBD setbacks and vegetative buffers. Also discussed building
height and character.
A Possible December 14 joint public hearing was discussed
Committee voted 3-0 in favor of a December 14 joint public hearing with the
planning board (motion Peake, second Zaret)
Petitions to change 7 groveland to hbd 7 groveland (parcel B)
The petitioner discussed the proposal and the reasoning behind wanting to
convert that parcel from residential to highway business. Planner Bagg provided
background as well
Next meeting set for 11/30 at 19:00
Committee voted to adjourn 3-0 (motion Peake, second Zaret)
