Public Safety Committee Meeting Meeting Minutes: October 6, 2020 Councilor Gomez called the meeting to order at 6:01. Zoom - Online Members Present: Chair Homar Gomez, Councilor Lindsey Rothschild and Councilor Salem Derby Also in Attendance: Jeff Hunter or Pioneer Fuels, Jody Ameden (Consultant for Jeff Hunter, Pioneer Fuels), Dan Constantine (Captain of Fire Prevention), Larry Webster, (With Pioneer Fuels) Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Councilor Derby and seconded by Councilor Gomez; it was unanimously voted to approve the minutes of 8/17/2020. Public Speak Time: No public present. New Business: ● Fuel Storage License request at 200 Park Street Dan Constantine - new school needs, temporary just for a year, over 2000 gallons need a license Scheduling public hearing for 11/4/2020 City Council meeting A motion was made by Councilor Derby and seconded by Councilor Gomez; it was unanimously voted to schedule the public hearing for 6:15 Continuing Business: ● Request to review on-street parking in the Traffic Rules & Orders Councillor Gomez still reaching out to the business owner on Cottage and Union. ● Request to amend existing fuel storage license at 35 & 40 O’Neil Street (public hearing scheduled for Oct 21, 2020 City Council Meeting) Covered the questions in the last meeting. The public hearing is scheduled. A motion was made by Councilor Derby and seconded by Councilor Gomez; it was unanimously voted to request to amend existing fuel storage license at 35 & 40 O’Neil Street to the full City Council. Next regular meeting: November 10, 2020 at 6pm A motion was made by Councilor Derby and seconded by Councilor Rothschil; it was unanimously voted that this meeting adjourn.
