Also in Attendance: Kevin Benson, Christopher Norris, Elizabeth Plouffe, Bridget Diggins, Homar Gomez, and
Bri Eichstaedt
Meeting called to order by Councilor Zaret at 6:00 pm
Could not record meeting, Motion to suspend rule by councilor Zaret seconded by Councilor Derby. Approved

1. Public Speak Time: no one
2. Approval of the meeting minutes:
Councilor Zaret made a motion to approve the minutes from the meeting August 11th, Councilor
Meunier seconded, Vote: 3-0 Approved
Fire Chief, Christopher Norris spoke in regards to vacancies and finances, budgets and grants.
There were still two vacancies he was trying to fill. Also looking into a new brush truck and oxygen
machine. The machine firefighters use to fill their tanks currently is from 1984, and its hard to find
parts for it or have it repaired, Deputy Chief Kevin Benson is looking into the Leary grant. New
ambulances are expected to arrive February 2023. The Engines need back up cameras, which
unfortunately are not eligible for the grant.
Health Department spoke about the Nalox Box Program, it is going well. Also spoke about possible
fentynile test strips in conjunction with the Nalox boxes. They are having a flu clinic on October 15th.
Bridget Spoke of the many roles she plays in the city, and Elizabeth spoke of Various referrals and
work shes done in the community. They also spoke about shelters for the homeless during the
coming cold months ahead.
Next regular meeting: October 11, 2022 at 6:00pm
Councilor Derby made motion to adjourn, Councilor Meunier seconded. Vote: 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 7:04 pm.
