ECA – Public Art Subcommittee Wednesday September 16, 2020 Meeting Minutes 5:00 Public Speak - n/a Approval of August 19th minutes - Jessica motioned, Jamie seconded all in approval Public Sculpture at Easthampton Council on Aging (ECOA) - The ECA Coordinating Committee approved matching funds ($500) for the sculpture. Pasqualina will update ECOA’s Executive Director Brendan Rogers and inquire about a theme (if any) for sculpture. Pasqualina will prepare a draft RFP for October’s meeting. It was agreed that if possible the review committee should be kept at seven members made up of representatives from the ECA Coordinating Committee, the Public Art subcommittee and if agreeable, from the ECOA. Artist Contract – Committee agreed on final version, punctuation and formatting changes will be made and document forwarded to committee for final approval in October. Other Easthampton Map – still working on removing the graffiti Acceptance of Donation Policy - n/a Fender Bender Plaque – still working on it Painting of Power to the People - Amy refreshed painting in September N.A.R.’s grant application is due 10/15. Union Street redesign - Sculpture locations need to be designated. Pasqualina, with the help a few committee members, will walk the street to identify potential spots. Next Meeting – October 21, 5:00
