ECA - Public Art Subcommittee Wednesday September 15, 20215:00 pm Meeting Minutes Guests – Liz Sturgen representing the Manhan Rail Trail, John Mason representing Parks & Rec Dept. Absent – Jamie, Jean Pierre 5:00 Public Speak – Pasqualina reported the tiger sculpture by Brace Thompson has been donated to the City and will be under the care of ECA. Pending further discussion, the sculpture will be placed outside the Council on Aging. Pasqualina will send more information to the PA committee and the topic will on the October agenda. Approval of August 11th meeting minutes - Marcia motioned for approval, Bob seconded and all were in approval. Review of Ferry Street Gateway to the Mills sculpture proposals – The committee and guest jurors evaluated and discussed twelve submissions. Two were chosen, one winning proposal and a runner up. The two proposals will be vetted by the Planning Dept to assure their feasibility in safety and any other unforeseen concerns. If approved, the winning proposal will be announced after the other applicants are notified.
