ECA - Public Art Subcommittee Wednesday October 20, 20215:00 pm Meeting Minutes Guests - Liz Sturgen from the Manhan Rail Trail 5:00 Public Speak - n/a Approval of September 15th meeting minutes – Bob motioned, Tracey seconded, all in approval, JP and Jamie abstained The committee and guest reviewed the updated proposals from the two finalists for the sculpture located at Ferry Street Gateway to the Mills. The committee decided on a winning proposal with the condition that two revisions are met. 1) Clarity on the sculpture’s orientation in the space 2) Solve the unclear narrative problem. Pasqualina will discuss the issues with finalist and update the committee. Update - Tiger sculpture by Brace Thompson - Council on Aging has decided against taking it on. Pasqualina spoke directly with Lonnie, Casey, and Russell--Casey is happy to hang onto it and Russell is also happy to house it at Park Hill Orchard, if need be, so no matter what, the sculpture is in good hands.
