Meeting Minutes
5:15 Public Speak – The trial Main Street redesign project was implemented.
The public is asked to experience the changes by walking, riding and driving
in the areas and give their feedback via the City’s web site.
Approval of March 6th meeting minutes – Jean-Pierre and Marcia made
motions, and everyone agreed.
Emerald Place grantees submitted the first draft of their proposal. Members of
the Planning Dept reviewed and suggested changes. If time allows the
proposal will be shared with the committee before final submission date.
Have a Heart for Public Art Fundraiser/ Sunday, April 21, 2024 – 20 event
tickets have been sold. Committee encouraged to invite people personally.
Marcia has secured Jim Argiro and ten Blue Moon Singers who will provide
entertainment in two 45-minute sets. Jamie will work with Pasqualina to post
the event on the City web site. She will also post on ECA calendar. Promotional
post cards have been printed, name tags, stickers and pins might will be made
as well. Auction items have been secured. The Gazette has expressed interest
in writing an article on the event.
Cottage Street Sculpture Installation Ceremony/ Saturday, May 11th 2:00 –
Denise, Tracey and Pasqualina will meet to discuss talking points for
ceremony.
Activating the Manhan Bike Trail with Public Art - prioritize city areas,
projects, and budget. – n/a
