ECA - Public Art Subcommittee Wednesday October 2nd, 20245:15 pm Meeting Minutes 5:15 Public Speak – ECA hired a part-time Marketing &Events Assistant, (Olive) who will also help with graphic design needs. Approval of September meeting minutes – Jean-Peirre motioned for approval, Bob seconded, all agreed. Pine Street mural refurbishing was rescheduled to October 9th through the 18th. Pasqualina will contact committee with dates and times so that we can assist with the painting. Mural photos for web site and merch –Tracey will take the before and after images of the mural for the planned publicity and merchandizing needs. Puzzle maker company – n/a The Unveiling event has been rescheduled to 10/26 at 2:00, (rain date 10/27) Added paragraph to artists contracts regarding ownership and upkeep – n/a Meeting with Brendan – Pasqualina did not formally meet with Brendan. She did run into him and obtained the recipe for recoating The Center of the Universe. After concern about the recipe’s availability in years to come, Pasqualina said she will make sure a copy gets put in her Public Art file. Misc. Have a Heart for Public Art, 2025 – Pasqualina will check with Casey on March dates. Update web page to include photos and information for both Mill Side Park & boardwalk sculptures – n/a Easthampton Storyscape – installation of vent, sharp edges filed? QR code & linked web page (Janna’s write-up) New plaque matching Center of the Universe’s – Pasqualina will get info and photo to Jean- Pierre so he can obtain a quote. Mosaic Mural - the committee discussed possible locations and was tasked with looking for others. Paint for bike racks – n/a Next meeting Wednesday, November 6th at 5:15pm
